Introduction

For the first time in our six years as a business, Sphynx Automation has decided to partner with an amazing new piece of tech for financial advisors! Meet Thyme - an up-and-coming AI solution for meeting transcription and note-taking that integrates with key pieces of the financial advisory tech stack.

As AI becomes smarter and more applicable within the workplace, advisors have begun to adopt AI note-takers like Jump and Fathom. These are quality pieces of tech, but they're not designed for advisors. On the other hand, Thyme is built specifically for advisors, and they're committed to providing functionality that make the financial advisory workday more streamlined.

Features

Thyme builds on the same foundation offered by other AI note-taking tools. This includes meeting transcription so you can reference various points of your meetings, note-taking that is crafted into a detailed meeting summary, and outlined tasks/action items to keep track of what still needs to be done, as referenced on your meetings.

So what makes Thyme different?

Not only does it integrate with meeting platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, but more importantly, it integrates with popular financial advising CRMs - Wealthbox, Redtail, and Salesforce! Thyme can automatically add your meeting's action items to your CRM for streamlined task management. It also gives users the ability to create custom workflows and set automated task sequences to help make your CRM usage as efficient as possible.

Inside the Thyme dashboard, you'll see any upcoming meetings displayed on your calendar, and a sidebar on the left-hand side to house client contacts and documents, in addition to your meetings. You can also manually schedule meetings as needed.

Within Thyme, you can also ask its built-in AI questions about your meetings. For example, if you spoke about several documents you need from a client in a meeting, but forgot exactly which documents you asked for, you can ask Thyme to scour through an old meeting transcription or previously-uploaded documents to pull the items you're looking for.

Pricing & Security

Thyme's pricing is incredibly simple - they offer a single plan at $199/mo. This plan includes access to all of their features with unlimited meetings and meeting durations. In addition, all Thyme users are offered a 14-day free trial before they need to pay for their first month.

Security-wise, Thyme encrypts its users data both in motion and at rest. Their platform also enforces strong passwords guidelines, offers two-factor authentication, and operates within a private network. Additionally, Thyme's AI provider, OpenAI, does not train their models with Thyme's user data. They also use bank-level encryption within their own service.

Lastly, Thyme does not access your individual user data unless absolutely necessary, for specific reasons such as debugging errors. In the event that Thyme does access your data, it is always kept confidential, and its own employees are prohibited from internally discussing or sharing your data.

Conclusion

While Thyme is just getting started making advisor's lives easier, they're also looking for your help to gather insight about how they can improve their platform. That's why we're co-hosting a roundtable together on Friday, September 13th! This will be your chance to provide feedback and make requests for features that could be added in the future. Thyme is looking to grow beyond just a transcription service, so your input is greatly appreciated!
